@ Cotolasty and Saylin

I played Shaiya on Aeria Games. Its where my husband and I met. I'm more often a priest or priest/tank.

We are on Guild Wars 2 now. :D We love this game. You should all come play with us. We started it 2 weeks ago. The holy trinity of grinding doesn't really apply in it so I am playing a few different classes that all DPS, can heal, rez, and no real tanking required. (Though my brave knight in armor takes the heat for my squishy caster still <3)

/claps

I wish, got friends trying to get me onto Planetside 2 on a daily basis, for now I just log on once a week, trying to stop! No time for anything. wacko.gif

Never mind! My packages have been sent, now desperately & impatiently waiting for the case complete mail. I hope I get my interview date soon too *praying to Allah*

iA you will get everything done this week! I'm just waiting for AOS packet acceptance, and IV fee for now, not too far behind you!

Yeah, if I quit, my husband would probably still play, and I'd get tempted to go back every night he raids or goes on, so whistling.gif

I would suggest just taking one conversation per month, to show that you're both always talking. Cause 2100 pages is a lot laughing.gif

One game (WoW) is more than enough for me laughing.gif I even tried playing Star Wars (SWTOR) last year in conjunction with WoW... yeah, that didn't work. Only one game for me. I can't juggle two, along with school, homework, and work wacko.gif

Well if your husband is playing with you, and that's your hang-out/bonding/fun activity, by all means continue to do so. I can assume you both are big into games, good for you guys! My wife isn't so much into tech/games, a little different I guess.

Yeah good idea, thanks Saylin. By the way, I spoke to NVC the other day and they said not to send anything not required for the IV packet, and to bring any additional evidence to the interview instead, any truth to that, or take it with a grain of salt as always for NVC/USCIS phone reps?

Yeah, two MMOs would be impossible with any other obligations.

You do four things:

1. Send the IV package with your new address

2. Call NVC up Monday to tell them you changed your address, give them the new address

3. Call NVC up Tuesday to confirm the address change (you never know with these operators headbonk.gif)

4. Bring an updated I-864 to the interview with your new address (they may not want/need it, but it's good to have your bases covered)

Saylin, Dwheels and all. Thank you so much for your prompt answers!

Actually I thought of one more thing.

Should I just go ahead and refresh my AOS packet with new addres and send it along the IV packet.

It seems they still did not go through the AOS packet.

Maybe I am over thinking this but rather ask and get some expert advice:-)

We actually met together through WoW, so :D We're both geeks, so tech and video games are our thing yes.gif

For MENA countries, it's actually a good idea to send extra evidence with the IV package since in most instances, the CO at the embassy already made up their mind on the decision of the case before you get there for the interview, and may not accept any proof of relationship. So, in your case, I'd say send it with the IV package as you may not get another chance.

No, definitely don't send a new I-864 with the IV package. It's going to confuse the heck out of NVC. Just keep the new I-864 for the interview, unless you get a checklist for the AOS package in regards to the form. Then, use the new address when you send the corrected I-864 back.

This is definitely true for MENA especially. So many people don't get a fair chance at the interview to explain their case. I am so thankful for Saylin and the VJ crew who caught me up to speed on all those things the officials don't tell you.

i'm trying to look for the format for the employment letter, is there a link here for that? i hope someone can share. thanks

That would come directly from your employer in whatever format they write. As long as it has your hire date, current job title and salary... and is on company letterhead, they'll know what to do.

Yeah, it'd be a little weird if one of us didn't play, as we're both on pretty much every night, until we go to bed. Thankfully, we both took our break from WoW at almost the same time too and then came back to it at almost the same time laughing.gif

And yeah, MENA is tough. So you want to frontload as much as possible, so the officer has a clear idea of your marriage. And hear, hear. Thank goodness for VJ! I'm absolutely certain NVC would have taken me so much longer to get through without this helpful site!

I'm pretty sure SLEC accepts either the initial information package which had the beneficiary's name as well as all the case numbers or the interview letter. I've never seen them request a case complete letter, especially since usually the only people that get that are those in EP.

Did you get an email that your case was complete from NVC? Wait for others to reply but you wouldn't get an Appointment Letter UNLESS your case was complete at NVC. You should ask whoever you are having your medical with. This could just be a case of differing terminology.
