hi guys!

i would like to ask if you can help know how much it would cost to petition for a spouse IR/CR visa from the Philippines. From start to finish. estimate total. thank you so much.

:help:

The fees for the different applications/packages total $738, if you're only applying for your spouse. Then there is the new green card fee of $165, for a total of $903. That does not include fees for police certs, original documentation that you may have to apply for, your medical, shipping costs, copies, etc.

We are applying from Ireland. Our total, WITHOUT plane fare, will be around $1500.

It also depends on where you live in the Philippines. If you don't live in Manila or close by then you need to figure in transportation and hotel rooms

I think with the eventual plane fare to Montreal we'll be spending... (not including visits) about $2700. That's not including marriage costs either or renewing my passport. We've visited 3 times at about 750 a time (including parking) too so almost 5k. Then there is moving costs I haven't figured into it.

My hubs was right when he said I was expensive. Lol! Love does things to your wallet, none of which increases the cash in there. Lol

Does this mean I can FINALLY tell my husband that HE'S the high-maintenance one?! If so, this process has become even more worth the money!

Is your medical extortionate? I'm trying to figure out if it's a Europe thing, or an Irish phenomenon. There is only 1 doctor/clinic in Ireland who can do a medical, and it's 395 euro, NOT including any missing injections. I nearly passed out when I read the information. Thank God Sophie's a USC, since we'd have had to add another 260 euro for her exam! :o

The price is fixed for all Danish doctors. Everything included should cost us 2200 kr which is about $390 depending on the day. It is 500 dkk ($90) for the xray, 200 dkk for the blood test ($35) and 1500 for the exam ($265). It'll be a little more if we need the flu vaccine or anything else.

That is pretty cheap, given that a normal appointment with a private doctor here costs $350-400.
