I-864 Joint Sponsor Question

Hi there! I know this topic has been beat to death, but I'm just trying to make sure I have all the correct information so that the process can go smoothly. I have read the instructions for the forms, but I think I'm just confusing myself even further...even though I'm sure this is a simple thing.

I am filling out the form sponsoring my husband, who is Canadian. I am having my mother file as a joint sponsor since I am currently unemployed. The part I'm confused about is whether I can count my mom as a household member and have her fill out an I-864A form or if she needs to fill out a separate I-864 form. I am currently living temporarily in Canada with my husband, but intend to move back to the house my mother lives in as soon as his visa is approved(where all my current ties are). Does she count as a household member even though I am not currently living there, but lived there before coming to Canada and plan on moving back there after leaving here?

Thanks in advance!

Yes your mom is considered a household member therefore she will fill out the I-864A.
