My interview is upcoming Monday! Getting very excited / nervous

Thats right Ally, ur up next! Just 3 months ago we started this journey together, now ur almost there.... No worries missy, hy vong and yuna did a great job at their interviews and you will too... Last time I checked uscis was not in this to tear legitimate families apart so u'll do great.

I am nervous about leaving her in the car with our friend, we've never left her with someone else before.. she will probably freak out!

Bringing sticker books and dvds for the car.. I don't think our interview will be too long though, it shouldn't be.

our case is very straight forward.

A text message woke me up at 5:16 am. I thought, that must be a case status update. Those text messages always come during odd times. Sure enough, I've been scheduled for July 2! Waiting for the paper notice now.

Just curious, what do people wear to the interview appointment? I'm assuming it's a little like dressing for a job interview, or no? I work at a university and most of us all look a little more polished than grad students, but definitely still very casual.

Received text message this early morning. Checked online for status and they said they have mailed the Green Card on May 29th.

That's pretty quick after the Interview on May 22nd.

So when my wife receives her card in the next few days, that's like a completion of the visa journey.

So far, after 6 months entering the U.S. and married living together. We love each other more and more everyday and this doesn't seem to stop. Thanks to visajourney.com.

I still can't believe that by reading and getting the answers from this website from knowing nothing about getting visa for my love in Vietnam to come live with me to knowing how to fill out all the forms and documents and preparing it so well that I didn't get any RFE's from the day I filed I-129F form. This whole do it yourself process of bringing my love to America, didn't cost me a penny in terms of paying agency or attorney.

Just curious, what do people wear to the interview appointment? I'm assuming it's a little like dressing for a job interview, or no? I work at a university and most of us all look a little more polished than grad students, but definitely still very casual.

I wore a casual dress to the interview, just something that you'd normally wear to work, I suppose? I saw a guy wearing shorts and t-shirt for his appointment...and sandals. I'd say just dress like you're normally going to work. And congrats on the interview date!

Bluuueeee! I got a text too but it says 29th of June, which is a Saturday weird... gonna wait on the actual letter to see if its a typo. Either way, we are gonna have a fantastic 4th of July. Yippeee!

Finally Tashired! weird it is on a Saturday.... maybe they're open anyway...

I am going to wear a knee long skirt, and a collard shirt I guess.

My husband is going to wear a collard shirt too and black pants.

We are not "fancy" in the least lol

I wonder if they are working Saturday to make up for the memorial day... but that doesnt make any sense this will be more than a month after... Im so glad to get an update, but I just hope to get the day sorted out. Congrats to everyone getting good news... and for those still waiting, its only a matter of time

Got my interview notice in the mail today! Early morning appointment. We will have to leave the house at 6:30 am. Ack!
