Thanks you for the great support and good vibes Tashired! Let's see, below is what is in my I-130/I-485 Proxy Therapy Garden:

2 Early Girl Tomatoes (bears fruit in 62 days, hopefully faster than ImmemorialN's AOS application, but not as fast as his EAD card)

1 cherry tomato plant

1 tomatillo plant

1 cilantro, which has bolted and is going to seed

1 sweet basil (we've harvested from this for a stirfry, yum!)

1 English daisy (12 flowers!)

1 fuchsia (looks a bit defeated, like its waiting for an interview appointment)

1 mint (very bushy, doing very well)

3 mature red Russian kale (ready for harvest in a week or two)

25 seedlings of red Russian kale (maybe ready by the time we get interviewed, yes)

By the way, I also thought I was hopeless in gardening. Turns out, the secret is in the soil (Black Gold Potting soil is great!), the frequency of watering and enough sun exposure. So I had to divide my patio into sun exposure zones and matched that with the right plants. Also I have a color code for which plants need more water.

Hang in there Curiosity has been piqued! What have you planted? and What deliscious flavor combination are u gonna make .... Always wanted a garden but I think I have a red thumb lol every plant I everhad died of dehydration

Congratulations to everyone getting EAD cards and interview dates! Alas, I am still in limbo waiting for an actual interview date. Meanwhile, my vegetable and herb garden is doing well

I am still waiting too. My case has not even been updated to "Testing and Interview" or anything, it still shows "Case Not Found". I am starting to think that I might be one of the "lucky" ones whose case does not get transferred and whose interview gets waived. If that is true, I am in for a loooong wait - NBC processing times are currently running at 9-12 months, so I could not expect my GC before Christmas. Very frustrating.

Edit: I have also started a herb and vegetable garden, and I picked my first red strawberries last week

Think the only interviews that get waived are the K1 adjusters who already had an interview for their visa.

Exactly. All other types of adjustment, with no exceptions, are required to attend an interview.

Yes, I came on a K1 visa and had an interview at the consulate in Frankfurt. That's why I assume that my case will not get transferred.

I know, hence my assumption that me as a K1 will be waived from the interview.

Whoa, thats some garden! Your little quotes are hilarius... lol at least after aos u'll never look at tomato or basil the same way again. Hubby turned me on to a basil tomato omellete...this morning ohh la la la awesome. Had a great memorial dogs, burgers and roasted jerk talapia (had to put my spin on it:)
