I keep checking my USCIS account to see if there are any "touches" or anything new... but nope nothing.

My last touch was 3/14/2013 which was when it first showed online.

How do you tell when there are 'touches' in your case? Is that the same as the 'last updated' column under "My Portfolio" on the case status website? If not, where do you get this information at?

I had an I-485 filing already submitted through an employment-based application. Post-marriage, I submitted an I-130, which after being approved was interfiled with the existing I-485.

Interfiling/AOS Timeline:

01/03/14 - Day 274 - Interfiling request received by USCIS

04/03/14 - Day 364 - Interfiling service request sent

04/30/14 - Day 391 - Second interfiling service request sent

05/19/14 - Day 410 - Email sent asking for case status update

06/04/14 - Day 426 - Response received that I-485 was transferred to NBC

06/05/14 - Day 427 - I-485 updated to "sent to local office for processing"

07/02/14 - Day 454 - Status changed to testing & interview. Interview date August 4!!

08/04/14 - Day 487 - Mini-Stokes interview. IO intended on approving AOS but the computer did not show I-130 approval. The wait goes on...

08/18/14 - Day 501 - Spoke with Tier 2 IO - said that my I-485 is approved but no card prodn ordered. Asked to call back in 2 weeks if no update.

08/29/14 - Day 512 - Spoke with Tier 2 IO - said that my I-485 was not approved yet, but my file was with an IO for a decision

09/03/14 - Day 517 - Wrote a request to my Congressman asking for assistance

09/09/14 - Day 523 - Status updated to Card/Document Production

09/15/14 - Day 529 - Status update - Card mailed to address on record/permanent resident status registered

Yes you can tell when someone has "touched" your case if you look at the date on the "last updated" !

Although I have read the online case file tracking isn't very accurate.

Some people will get lots of touches and some none.

Wait Time Projections

Based on another Denver AOS timeline (Mabouby), I probably won't receive mail about an interview until after 34 days. Then I would have to wait 30 from that interview appointment e-mail or letter to the actual interview day.

Which means, I should expect to receive my interview date around May 20 and perhaps expect to get interviewed around June 20.

I hope to distract myself with preparing documents for the interview and other things until then. :whistle:

Hope you get an update soon! I'm sure you'll get your biometrics letter soon

Well, I'm sorta hoping that I get to skip the biometrics and/or medical altogether. I completed both back in 2007 with my EB I-485 submission. When my 130 is approved it is going to be attached to the 485 already in their system.

I have read that as long as the biometrics and medical results were submitted within the deadline for that 485 filing that a repeat may not be necessary? I've only read this on forums online so frankly I'd be shocked and pleasantly surprised if I did not have to repeat those two steps. I couldn't find any official documentation on it online though. Only time will tell I guess.

Well, I'm sorta hoping that I get to skip the biometrics and/or medical altogether. I completed both back in 2007 with my EB I-485 submission. When my 130 is approved it is going to be attached to the 485 already in their system.

I have read that as long as the biometrics and medical results were submitted within the deadline for that 485 filing that a repeat may not be necessary? I've only read this on forums online so frankly I'd be shocked and pleasantly surprised if I did not have to repeat those two steps. I couldn't find any official documentation on it online though. Only time will tell I guess.

That's what I have read as well. However, I have also read that that timeframe is from the time the tests are taken to the time the 485 is submitted. Now my tests were taken and 485 submitted well within those deadlines. What I do not know is that when my 485 is attached to my 130 approval, will those results still be considered valid or not.

I don't care if I have to take the tests again. Just thought it would cut down on some processing time and save me a 6 hour round trip since the nearest support center to me is a 3 hour drive to Nashville!

I had an I-485 filing already submitted through an employment-based application. Post-marriage, I submitted an I-130, which after being approved was interfiled with the existing I-485.
