Okay, I know that many of you are waiting to hear the results of our interview. I don't know if I have all of the facts yet since neither of us could sleep last night. I talked to him online until 8 this morning right before he left. He got home around 1:30.

They did let him in, and he waited to be called. He never talked to any of the CO's, just one of the locals that works there. They told him that since he has a pending CR1 that they are not going to interview him. He told him that the CIS will call me and request more information and/or schedule an interview. Once the review is complete that they will contact the consulate and they can issue the visa. He told him that they will take the K-3 information and put it on hold until it is resolved. He then told him that the CR1 is the better visa (duh), and to be patient. Okay...the better visa to us is the one that would bring him here the fastest, but really by the time they get word from the CIS then the CR1 is truly the best one.

I figured that it would happen similar to this, but I at least I thought he would have another opportunity to show them the evidence that they never looked at the first time. My poor husband is beaten and down. He doesn't even have the strength to be angry at this point. He pretty much told me this and is now taking a nap.

Don't worry friends, I am not giving up! I am as resolved as ever to get this visa! Our marriage and our love is real, and I pray that they call me into an interview. I am prepared to blow them away with evidence. (you thought I meant to really blow them away didn't you.... )

I hope others this week have better luck than us!

Been waiting on an update on your case. The k3 if it goes after the CR1 to the embassy it is not processed. Your case is coming back to the states and then you can go and interview and hopefully everything will be cleared up at that time. Hang in there and praying for you and your husband to be reunited in a timely fashion.

Mary

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

Your right, I have heard that they cancel the K-3 if the CR1 has already been processed. I was expecting that, but they didn't. I even wrote them 2 e-mails about it and had the senator's office contact them to find out what they were doing. I don't know why they didn't cancel it before, nor is it cancelled now...just on hold...strange.

I'm sorry that this is such a slow and tedious process... I will be praying that you and your husband will be reunited soon! (F)

Morocco, you know you also have my prayers and best wishes!! I like you am waiting to present my evidence to Vermont Service Center. I know that they have the petition and you know what they told the

congressman about checking security clearance procedures. Just my opinion here, I believe they now do

a deeper check on both me and my husband and if nothing shady shows up we will recieve that NOID and the opportunity to present our case. However the congressman's office was told it would take 60-120 days before we can inquiry anymore about this petition. A sort of "DO NOT CALL US< WE"LL CALL YOU!"

I am leaving today to be with my habibi, but when I return I will be hard on this case to make clear whatever

was unclear in Casa.

Love and Peace

Karen H.

You know what? I think they just don't give a sh*t. As much as we'd like them to be evil people, as much as that might make us feel better in fighting the bad guys, I think they just don't care enough about doing their jobs well or serving the people who pay their salaries to even attempt to be moderately professional.

Sigh. I feel for those of you still dealing with Casa, I realize how lucky I am to have them out of my life forever. You are all amazingly dedicated to your relationship with your partners.
