Hi,

we went through what you are going through now. We got to 5 weeks and resubmitted the paperwork and then 3 days later we received an email to say our case is closed with the NVC and it being submitted with our local embassy. Our paperwork that we resubmitted has still not arrived there because we put a track on it. So it was a waste of money but we were getting concern that we had not heard from them.

Good luck

M.

Come on over to the NVC filers thread read Post #1 and #2 really good info while you wait. You have a bit of a wait its taking almost 2 to 4 weeks just for cases to get to NVC than about 2 weeks to get case#. Best thing to do is call and call and call. Read the post I have here. Good luck.

The beneficiary or the petitioner should CALL the NVC to get the case number.
