You can pay immediately after receipt of the visa and visa packet, before the applicant departs for the US.

Is this including the waiver fee already paid when you file it? Do you have to pay ith to be able to pick up your visa packet?

what waiver fee are you talking about,did you file for k-1 1-129f OR 1-130 cr-1 if you filed for k-1 then you don't need to pay for the green card,the adjustment of status you pay the fee 1,070 for 1-485 and 1-765.that all you pay, the new fee 165.00 is only for immigrants that are coming to the us to live to receive the green card.

WOW!!! I'm glad I checked this topic! I did not know of this fee! They never told my wife at her interview at the consulate in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. I found the link to the USCIS website that includes the instructions.

I'm so tired of fees. I thought we were done until removing conditions...but anyways, glad it's almost over.
