Congrats!

I'm also applying for my parents in Ukraine; about to send out DS230. If you can, please post updates on Alla's mom's interview process at the embassy. I would really appreciate it.

9/17/08 - I-751 received by VSC

10/30/08 - biometrics

3/5/09 - transfer to CSC

4/6/09 - approval recieved by mail dated 4/2/09

4/21/09 - 'card in process' letter received by mail dated 4/16/09

5/8/09 - GC arrived in mail:)

12/23/11 - N-400 sent

4/21/12 - Citizenship interview

5/30/12 - Oath!

10/10/12 - I-130 for parents received at Chicago lock box

1/9/13 - I-130 approved, case forwarded to NVC

2/7/13 - AOS fee e-mail request

2/9/13 - AOS fee paid

2/16/13 - AOS mailed out

2/16/13 - Choice of agent e-mailed

2/25/13 - Choice of agent accepted by NVC

2/26/13 - IV bill e-mailed

2/27/13 - IV fee paid

I will. Seems you are ahead of us even though we filed the I-130 in June, 2012. In August they changed how the I-130s are handled and that has sped things along for people filing after that date.

I will. Seems you are ahead of us even though we filed the I-130 in June, 2012. In August they changed how the I-130s are handled and that has sped things along for people filing after that date.

Thanks:) Yes, I've been lucky with timing so far, knock on wood:) Although, I just realized today that I'm missing one of the certified copies for the DS-230. Getting it would set us back several weeks, knowing how things work in Ukraine.

Which mailing service did you use to mail Alla's mom's documents to the US?

Which mailing service did you use to mail Alla's mom's documents to the US?

We hand carried her personal documents here, which we picked up from her during our summer visit. We/she has yet to receive any other documents, we just got the petition approved last week. We will probably use Fedex as there is no DHL in Vermont.
