was just wondering with my interview coming up soon. will I need any additional documentation given my positive HIV status which will be known by the consulate since they have my previous records. please help i don't want any delays i want to go fully prepared.

HIV status is no longer an automatic rejection. I would expect them to ask about your potential medical costs / coverages. I would go in as informed as possible about these things especially if you have any issues related to HIV. If you are like the majority of positive people with no health issues, just present an informed position on the monitoring of your health and you should be more than fine.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Are U in or outside the US, it should not dis-qualiy U as long as U are not found to have legions at the interview

or as the other poster said illnesses related to your status,however I think maybe health insurance issue may come up

so you and the petitioner should get informed throughly....best wishes

i am outside the US, my husband has a medical insurance and i will be included once am inthe US.

thanks for your input, I dont have any issues related to the condition,I am kind of prepared ie my husband has identified a hospital close to where he lives that accepts his insurance, currently am not included since am not there but will be included once i get there, just wanted to know if thats enough or i need more, dont want any delays
