Hello everybody!

Today I finally got the update that I have been approved!

I wanted to thank everybody here for all your advise and help. It would have been impossible for me to go through this journey if it wasn't for VJ!!!

I came here on the vwp 4 1/2 years ago and I am the case where circumstances just change over night!

I was out of status for four years!

A couple of years ago it was impossible for me to adjust because uscis was denying cases from vwp.

Anyway, I started the process last August and everything went pretty well and I had my interview in December!

My interview was in LA and I had a very nice IO. First thing she told me was to relax we are just going to chat! ( I was ready to pass out, due to no sleep, no food and mainly nerves)

She only asked a couple questions, swore us in, went through the yes or no questions.

She was a little disappointed that we didn't bring our son!

She already made up her mind before we walked in there!

Her and my husband mainly chatted about her job, she did everything by the book when it came to paperwork.

That is what got me an rfe!

I got the rfe for my affidavit letters from friends and family.

I thought having them notarized would be good enough, well it wasn't good enough for her she wanted their birth certificates.

We faxed everything over and didn't hear anything for over two month.

We made an infopass appointment and faxed everything over again!

Well finally today I got approved!

Thank you all again!
