SSS - Selective Service System? Is that what you mean?

To apply for SSS, you can download the form online from www.sss.gov

It would require your Social Security number, so it is better to wait until you receive your social security. When you attempt to register SSS, it may not accept your brand Social Security Number, and in this case, you can submit the application by mail.

Alien Card is your " Green Card ", it should arrive within 4-6 weeks from the date of Port of entry.

State id: You would require two address proof, I-551 ( Green Card ). Or each state may have little different requirement which I am not sure.

All right! Selective Service System registration: If you are a male between 18-26, then it is applicable, otherwise skip this step.

For SSN - Social Security Number - Did you mark for Social Security Number in DS-230? If yes, then wait for 3 weeks before visting one of your nearest Social Security Office. If your Social Security card doesnt arrive within 3 weeks, then visit to www.ssa.gov to download the form for Social Security, and bring your passport to one of nearest Social Security office to apply. It is easy! :)

Waiting times vary. It may take 30 days after POE to get your SSN card and GC.

You can get your state ID (driver's license, or non-driver's ID) from the nearest DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles). I have no clue if there is a test or not, or if a class is required, for new immigrants. Anybody know? I should be looking into this soon..
