Can wife's mother arrive on her existing Visa while waiting for IR1 to go through?

Hey all, my wife finally got her citizenship last friday, HOOORAH! Now with her mother in possession of a 10 year visa can she still visit while she processes her IR1 paperwork??? I am curious if she actually has to wait outside the country while this happens so just asking on here.

She can visit, but as always, no one can guarantee her entry. She has to show strong ties to home.

And she has to return to Colombia for the interview at the embassy. Just be 100% certain that she doesn't overstay.

She can come to visit, but she can't permanently stay. She needs to abide by the rules of her non-immigrant visitor visa. She would need to return home to complete the process to get her immigrant visa.
