Spooky, you'd remember the old Sullivan Stadium, now Gilette Stadium, and Fenway Park had those trough style urinals. Hated those foolish things.

I sure do! I remember guys peeing in the sinks and even on the floor in Shaefer/Sullivan Stadium at Pat's games. I even saw guys lined up at the fence and just peeing toward the outside part of the stadium. That place was a real trip!

Something needs to be done to accommodate these children though. They have to get support from somewhere and not be made to feel that they're inferior or broken. Same goes for children who are bullied for other reasons. You can't stop bullying, but you can change how it's dealt with.

Until they are old enough to make these decisions for themselves, I believe the support comes from the parents and other family members, it's just not right to expect society to accept the burden of every "different thinking child". Where would it end?

I think many 1st graders are capable of dressing themselves.

how do you figure? you're implying that the parents are trying to make him a girl, and that was the exact same argument used in the last transgendered child post..it can't be the child - it's the parents forcing an agenda? come on..

Do you think he went to the store and bought the girls clothes himself?

What do you think the parents have to gain from something like this? What's this agenda you guys speak of when it comes to these stories? Why would a parent force this on a child? For fun? I'm curious as to what you believe they're accomplishing or benefiting from doing this.

They allowed it. Doesn't mean forced. Allowed. They bought him girls clothes. They let him wear them to school. The kid is 6.

my son picks out his clothes. i buy them.

do you think the parents are manipulating the child or the child is manipulating the parents? either way, why not entertain the thought that gender identity disorder exists in children?

What is the most idiotic line in the article? She has dressed as a girl for the last year. No, mom and dad dressed him like a girl. This one is on the parents.

Bingo!

What we have here is some weird parents destabilizing the mind of a child and in the end there is a darn good change this kid will be hanging in his closet before the age of thirty.

Even the two people behind the stupid "It gets better" propaganda, offed themselves.

Why is it we understand a plant needs certain nutrients, certain type of soil and the right balance of sun light and water to develop properly but when it comes to kids...... any environment will do.

Notariety, exposure and money. I believe this family has been on multiple news shows and I'm sure they're getting donations from special interest groups too.

So if your 6 year old male picked out a pink tutu and a matching thong you'd buy it? And let him wear it?

Again, so? What does that matter? If the kid wants to wear girl clothes, who cares? If that's what he's comfortable in, fine. He isn't going to school in his underwear. He isn't going to school in something ridiculous like a ballerina outfit. How does this impact anyone else?

I can't believe I'm reading this.

I can't believe I'm reading this.

Why? Because I don't believe how a child dresses really matters?

The bathroom actually impacts other people, so I understand that. But what they wear? As long as it's within the rules of the school's dress code, why does it matter if the kid chooses to wear pink?
