So sorry you guys are still waiting. I kept trying to submit an e-request each day, not sure if it helped but we got our NOA2 soon after. We were getting so desperate that we would try anything. I called daily as well and always asked to speak to a Tier 2.

They really need to clean up their process of approving these applications so that they are reviewed/approved/RRE in the order they were applied. It simply isn't fair that people who have filed after you have been approved/RFE.

Good luck and please keep the faith

I Looooooove my baby Lyn.

I agree with everyone else who's already written. This forum and these friends we have in each other by common experience -- they can certainly help buoy us. However, I try hard not to log on here too too often or check my case status but maybe once a month, b/c I find I get really panicky and develop immense tunnel vision with worse-case scenarios playing out in my head over and over. What if I forgot something. What if they reject us? What if they lost our file? And spiral from there. It's not healthy.

We have to trust history here. History says that no two peoples' cases, irrespective of their similarity in dates, circumstances, or countries, indicates a commonality of dates of notice.... not really.... History also tells us this process is RIDICULOUSLY slow.

So.... chins up, everyone. We're all in this slog together, and we really are in it together. BIIIIIIG Hugs to each of you. ((((((VJ friends))))))

Prayers going up for you all (and for me and my hubby)!

I just would like to share what I heard today from Joyce Meyer.

"Patience is not the ability to wait. It's how you act while you're waiting. It is a fruit of the Holy Spirit that only grows and develops under trial."

I felt your sentiments guys..Though I am not waiting for approval from our I-130, we got approved last Feb 12(thank God) and now waiting on NVC. We requested an expedite for our papers but was approved last Feb.. My hubby (USC) has cancer and next month will be his surgery. It is very hard for me too because I wanted to be there for my hubby during his surgery but it is very impossible for now for our papers haven't reached the NVC yet. I couldn't understand things but I'm doing my best to simply trust God's will. There were many times I cried and told my hubby to call to follow-up but it is too early yet for we need to wait for 15 business days to call. There were times I lost my patience and trying to push things the way I wanted but later I realized that there are things here on earth that are beyond our control and all you can do is sit back, relax, pray and trust God. God is good. He always shows ways how to lift me up and this morning He inspired me again from Joyce Meyer. If you want to listen here is the link - http://www.youtube.c...?v=vFGsd0TvDw4.

I would like to share one of my favorite verses

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

Hang on there guys. Let's continue praying for one another. God bless us on our journey.
