In all seriousness though, I'm sure that is a large factor in the higher numbers of rape in college women. Both men not controlling themselves, and women finding themselves in situations they would have avoided if sober. A female friend of an old girlfriend would get raped about 3 or 4 times a year. But she was constantly going out and getting stinking drunk alone, then staggering home from the downtown area. When I told her she needed to stop going down there drinking alone all the time, she said her reply was along the lines that she didn't get raped that often compared to all the free drinks guys gave her.

i'm guessing it has more to do with intoxication levels than college alone

I didn't say just. I've said numerous times that I believe women should be prepared when it comes to situations like this. But why are we ONLY focusing on the woman and not the person doing the raping? I asked should it be entirely up to the victims to "fix" the situation? Why are you focusing on the victim more than the rapist?

It would be much easier to discuss things with you if you decided to read what people are actually saying instead of reacting to what you incorrectly believe they're saying. But that's asking too much of you isn't it, Danno?

People prove you incorrect on a daily basis in these forums and yet here you are, spewing the same garbage as always. Some things never change.

I'll use a Danno line - typical Republican logic. Don't focus on the actual problem (rapists, murderers), focus on the people victimized by these situations and dictate what they did wrong.

Soon justashooter will come in here and spew HIS nonsense about how women are just asking for it because of how they dress. That's always a good time.

Giving rapists sex changes and then putting them in a male prison, might be a more affective deterrent than what we currently do.
