Hi,

I have a question. When I filed I-129F for my fiancee back in 2012, at that time I lived at my old address so I used that address.

Now she has arrived in the U.S. and we are married. I moved to a new place and now filing for AOS. I am using the new address on the forms for AOS, does that mean I have to fill out an Address Change Form and mail it with the I-485?

thanks

No, you dont have to.

NVC Left : 2012-06-28

Packet 3 Received : Called DOS on 07/3 and package 3 sent out. We didn't wait for the "physical" package. My fiance' mailed DS2001 and DS230 part I

The SSAdm still have not been able to verify my wife status to issue SSN for her.

I mailed her AOS including the work authorization form I-765 to USCIS yesterday.

also yesterday the SSAdmin called me after I left them so many voice messages in the last 2 weeks. They told me that I need to call USCIS to ask for AED, which is the work authorization form and extend her I-94 because her I-94 is gonna expire on the 13rd of March, which is next week.

Gosh, I am so confused and frustrated about this.

There might be something wrong with your wife's informations which DHS put on their system when she arrived. In my case, they put a wrong date of birth, so the SS office in Guam couldn't verify my status after making me wait 2 months and my I-94 expired, there was no explaination for me. When I had EAD in hand, I moved to mainland, applied SSN again and still met the same problem, they just simply said my DOB didn't look right, but this time they made it through and I got SSN after another month waiting. I thought the problem was solved there, but when I applied Learner Driving Permit, it showed clearly on their system that I had a different DOB, luckily the gentleman at DMV helped me send a complaint email and proofs to DHS to make them fix that mistake, and everything has gone well so far.

Back to your case, I don't think you can easily extend your wife's I-94 for SSN reason. Maybe you can ask SSA the reason why they couldn't verify your wife's status, if it is about incorrect information, you'll need to contact DHS. When your wife has her EAD, you can apply SSN for her again. I know it's a painful process, I felt guilty to my husband for wasting his time and money again and again, but he always says "it's worth it!". Good luck to you!
