Hey everyone - I probably obsessing/over-analyzing this too much. But no MENA people responded to my K-1 post so I wanted to just cast the net a little wider to see if you had any advice. I made a mistake in my statement on our I-129F petition. Wrote the wrong year we met. I guess there is no way for me to correct it or address it while it's at USCIS. But I am very concerned now for my fiance's embassy interview being how difficult MENA Embassies are to get through. It was my mistake, not his, so I hope they won't chew him up too badly for it. Otherwise I think our case is really solid and quite different from most because I met him here when we were students. The only red flag I can think of is we're not the same religion. Now all I'm doing is just kicking myself for being so stupid.

Thank you all!

It sounds like you got a lot of really sound advice there. I guess you could send him with some kind of affidavit at the interview detailing your typo, but even that is probably way overkill. Did you include any 2006 evidence despite accidentally typing 2007?

Yes there was a class photo from the end of 2006 that I included. This is what concerns me most, other that being wrong in the paperwork about a date. In hindsight, I probably went overboard with front loading. No, not probably, definitely.
