Which province or territory are you or your SO from?

I'm (Karen) born and raised in Ontario. Currently in Brantford, Ontario.

I was born in Guatemala city, Central America, came to Canada as a child and was raised in Québec, Montreal.

I am going to live in Alabama with my husband as soon as we get the visa. We are planning to leave around the first week of January if God's will.

Born in Melville Saskatchewan. Raised in Richmond Hill Ontario for 22 years. Moved to Saskatoon in 1982...and still here for another 2 months! Movin' to St. Louis!

Carla (F)

Cool! I was born around Yorkton, Saskatchewan (in a small town called Invermay) and lived there until I went to university for 5 years in Saskatoon, Sask, and then spent the last 10 months after school in Regina, Sask. Now i'm finally right outside Portland, Oregon!

Do you ever miss the prairies? I think I will. Even after being raised in Ontario for so long, I'm still a prairie girl at heart....what's the saying? You can take the girl from the prairie's but you can't take the prairie out of the girl...lol

I was born and raised right on our rock, Victoria, BC. "My heart beats for the west (west coast).. " People born and raised here are not all that common. They are as others said from the praries or from Ontario. Although if you're going to stay in Canada Victoria by far has the nicest weather, and I'm not just partial to it. But, I will be moving to Arizona... where they have a La Canada street... once the visa is in hand.

Hehehe, I found out the secret of speaking 'suthern' - you take any word that is one syllable long and stretch it out into three syllables ( or more), and take any word of 3 syllables or more and make it into one or two syllables:-).

Oh, the East Coast ... *whistful sigh*

My Dad's family is from Marystown, NF, and I've spent enough time on the rock to know my heart is there :P

Born in Southern Ontario (Meaford, anyone?), recently moved to Kamloops, BC. Used to camp every year near McArthur Mills (near Bancroft, read someone was from there). Moving to eastern Washington (south of Spokane, in a wheat field somewhere...). Nice to meet ya's!

-Eli-

I have family on both sides of Kamloops - it's the nearest 'big' city for them.

And my hubby was raised south of Spokane in the 'middle of nowhere'. I have yet to go over and see that side of the state...maybe next Spring. We're on the west side of WA now...and he says he much prefers the winters over here with less snow.

When you get there, if you're near Pullman, try to get some Cougar Gold cheese from WSU. The family brought me some to try earlier this year and it was pretty darned good. :)

(Of course I like cheese a lot so that probably helped. ;) )

Electricity is really just organized lightning.
