Hi there. I will have my visa interview on March 6. I have everything ready like orig MC, BC (in case they ask) exchange of emails, photographs, money transfer, holiday/bday cards that my hubby sent etc. I have printed out his scanned copies of 2009,2010,2011 Tax Return.

Did I miss something  ? Just wanna make sure as we are taking a leap of faith (L) . Hubby got my one way plane ticket and his two-way ticket, set our church wedding next month, booked the hotel etc.

Any advise or words of encouragement will be so appreciated. Blessings to all! :)

So you're already married in a civil ceremony and you're planning a church wedding in the US now right? Make sure you have your NBI and your CEMAR, along with your affidavit of support forms (I-864, etc.) We just had our interview a week ago. I spent so much time preparing all this stuff like all these pictures of us together and proof of joint bank account and vehicle ownership, tons of proof of my intent to re-establish US domicile, etc, etc, and they didn't have ANY interest in seeing any of it. They wanted our NSO Marriage certificate, her NSO birth certificate, NSO CEMAR, I-864, and the tax transcripts. I tried to give them photocopies of the MC, BC, and CEMAR but they very sternly insisted on keeping the originals. Copies of the tax info is fine (that's all you would really have to give them anyway). When you arrive there will be several very aggressive vendors trying to tell you what line to get into, don't believe them. My wife and I spent about 15 min in the wrong line (along with many others who also believed the vendors). Go straight to a guard and ask them where you're supposed to be. Good luck. You will spend many hours waiting for your number to be called again and again, but the actual interviews are pretty darn quick. :)

Oh thank you so much for sharing a bit of your experience that time. I do appreciate.

We are having our church wedding here in Manila.

I have already submitted my orig NBI clearance and based on the Appointment letter, this cert "has been received and accepted as a post meeting post requirement". So I don't need to bring a new one, right? Well, I will have my personal copy with me (NBI).

Thanks again. Whew! One week to go.... :)

My wife had copies of my tax returns and it was fine.

Thank you! :)

Scanned copy is fine. Good luck!!! :)

Thank you! :)

Do they need more than just 1 year of tax returns?

I thought only the previou year was required?

Only need the more recent tax return is what is stated in the instruction letter from the embassy.
