I just paid the $88 for AOS fee. I am in Electronic Processing as the consulate is in Juarez, Mexico. The payment has not been processed yet, but I'm wondering if I can send the AOS packet by email. I have it all prepared Barcode Scan Sheet, cover letter explaining documents enclosed, I864EZ signed and dated, last 3 years' tax returns and W-2s, employment letter, and 8 paycheck stubs dating between 11/2011 and 2/2013. I think this should be enough. But again, can I email it in now, before the fee appears as paid, without having any negative consequences? What would happen if I send it in now? Any help would be appreciated!

yes you sure can send it in now since it takes couple of days to get reviewed. Once you are sure your account is in good standing, then you are good to go.
