I saw Nat Geo and had to look. Back before the internet that is all we had. Finding a Nat Geo stash of Mags was quite a find. I always found it amusing that you could have an 8-page spread of nude women, and no one cared because they were brown and from another country.

No one cared because nudity is not a big deal to people who don't sexualize everything.

LOL I love it when pseudo intellectuals tell people nudity is no big deal, and we should not sexualize everything.

Let me tell you this. If a pubescent boy sees naked women and it does not stir something in him, then something is broken. That's just the way nature works, regardless if you like it or not. Sex along with food, and survival is one of the basic human conditions. You may fancy yourself to be so cerbal you are above it, but trust me. If all your parts are working it will drive you.

Just like hunger pains will drive you to seek food or work, or in many cases nowadays the EBT card.

What is pseudo intellectual about not seeing the big deal in regards to nudity?

It has nothing to do with being "cerbal", in your words. A naked body is just a naked body. My immediate thoughts when seeing one are not sexual, unless the circumstances are sexual. Seeing a naked man in a Nat Geo magazine would not "stir" something in me. Sorry if that makes me broken.

When I was living in India during my teenage years, I used to ride a bike to school. I used to experiment around with routes a lot and one route I discovered took me by train tracks. If I rode by the tracks shortly after dawn, I would see India's poor (men and women) lined up taking dumps by the tracks. They tried to cover up but... you could see stuff. It wasn't sexual at all. It was gross, dirty and very sad.

Had I enjoyed the view, I may have used that route more often (it saved me a few minutes) but I didn't.

It doesn't make you broken. Folks in America are just not used to nudity and thus any little piece of naked skin seems to make them horny. They think that's normal. I remember nude bodies at beaches and in city parks for as long as I can think back. Hell, student camps in ole' East Germany were fun. The showers - no gender separation. We had a group of students that went for steam baths once a week - fully nude with no gender separation there either. Guys and gals in their late teens early 20's taking showers together, steam bathing, whatever. No. Big. Deal. I also remember the GIs that were stationed close to home in Berlin Zehlendorf hanging out at the park at the Krumme Lanke watching the ladies sunbathing topless or fully nude there. It was hilarious.
