With all due respect.. I do understand the frustration. My original K1 petition was sent to the Texas lock box Aug 14, only to wait 14 days to get the whole thing back. Reason: the I129f was incorrect?? So my attorney and I looked and found a "newer" form that was said to be the "most recent." The difference between the two -- absolutely nothing; except the adopted date and revision date. AND the original I129f I used showed on the USCIS website as being acceptable. Could I have complained, griped, cried, called everyone under the sun and let them know? Sure, but instead I returned the forms and hoped for the best. Now I hope for a speedy processing and NOT to receive an RFE, but rather an approval. The process still must proceed and follow normal procedures.. Can I change it? NO... Did I get into this for the short term gratification of brining someone to the US OR am I in it because I have found (for me) the most amazing woman on the planet? (I hope you all feel the same about your fiancée) I also realized that we were in a presidential election, 4 major US holidays and a number of other factors that I must wait through. I accept that this WILL slow processing times. But as I said before I am in it for the long haul NOT instant gratification. I think it amazing that microwave popcorn has become too slow for many in our society. So all I am saying is change your mindset.. Look to the positive that you will be together.. NO matter how long it will take. Spend your energies on the positive and the good.. NOT on the feeling of woe is me when things at USCIS -- CSC -- VSC are taking longer than we would like. Does the system need fixed? I would agree YES. But, work to change it in a positive way and through the right channels.

As for the comment following yours.. I do have sympathy and condolences. God knows I wanted to see my girl here for Christmas 2012. I was even told originally that processing only took 90 days.. WOW was that idiot wrong. So my sympathy and condolences because the two of you are not together yet. Is that not what we all want? To be with our fiancée as soon as possible, and begin our lives together.... But, my sympathy or condolences will ever be offered for a lack of patience.

Chill out guys, we all know that the one thing that really matters is that we'll be with our loved ones in the end…we're all waiting and I think most of us realize that there's nothing we can do but wait. Not everyone is blessed with a whole lot of patience, so some people need to vent more than others and after all, isn't this what this forum is for? To talk about what we're going through with other people who are going through the same thing?

That is was my fiance is saying all the time. We should relax because what else can we do? Just wait.. But indeed some people like me are getting weak every day. I was so strong and with attitude "YEAH LES DO THIS" but after hearing the same every week from USCIS, not even accepting our Service request and saying "you should get a notice within 3 weeks" and nothing happens.. I mean of course I do not have plans, only dreams.. like oh.. right now I would be there with my new life. It's the 7th month now and March would be the 8th. I visited my fiance a week ago and in the POE of Seattle, the passport control the officer there asked me about how is the process going? When I told her I am waiting since August she was like .. Oh wow... I'm sorry this is awkward to hear normally they take like 5-6 months. :(

Sometimes the thoughts , the bad ones thought are like poison. Instead of being positive as I was , I am making scenarios too. Why isn't approved? what about that, this blah blah.

This forum helps me a lot too. People feel the same way I do and its comforting somehow.Except when I see some people being approved within 1-2 months I'm like ARGH man! :P

We just heard back from our senator's office…same notice…petitions are processed in the order they were received, we're supposedly still within the time frame blablabla

My fiancé is going to talk to the guy at the senator's office again, because three days ago the petition one receipt number down from ours was approved and that is the only one within the 100 block of receipt numbers we're in. That just doesn't make any sense if they really process the petitions in the order they were received…I don't know if this is going to get us anywhere but it's worth a try.
