As in my first topic i posted. My case was reaffirm at USCIS ans sent back to the embassy on friday i recieve email from NVC that my .case as been sent to the embassy Today I check my case status on the CEAC WEBSITE and it said as followes. Could anyone tell me what does this means.

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days. Under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, Immigrant Visas for "Diversity Visas" cannot be issued after September 30th of the year in which you were selected to apply for a Diversity Visa. For example, entrants into the Diversity Visa Program in Fall of 2011 were selected for Diversity Visa 2012 Program, and selectees MUST apply and receive their visa prior to September 30, 2012 otherwise they lose eligibility to receive a Diversity Immigrant Visa, regardless of additional administrative processing. In addition, please note that some immigrant visas may not be able to be issued if the annual numerical limit for that category has been reached.

I am unclear as to the specifics of your particular situation but if you already had your interview and were requested to submit additional documentation and did so they may be reviewing it to determine if anything else is needed or if your documentation and case has sufficient and complete information. Also AP could be a number of other things unknown that they could be looking into from what I have researched on the matter, such as name checks (here is a link to an article that can provide some insight as to reason the case is in AP http://www2.gtlaw.com/practices/immigration/newsletter/archives/017/item07.htm). My fiance's visa was approved on Jan 15, 2013 and now it is in AP and we have been waiting going on 6 weeks....the Embassy won't give you specifics and it is frustrating because you have to wait without knowing how long it could take. I have checked the ceac site and our case says issued and printed but it has said this since Feb 5, 2013 and when I call the DOS they say it wasn't issued and is still being processed. Supposedly the visa status site may not be accurate as in my case so you can call the DOS (202) 663-1225 and see if they can clarify anything for you.
