I'm a Jamaican who lives in the Bahamas. My fiance is a US citizen. We plan to get married this summer. He's coming here to the Bahamas then he will go back and start filing the papers. Will i be free to travel back and forth using my ten year non-immigrant visa? That is, while we wait for the paper work to be approved for me to stay?

If you already have a visitor visa for the USA, yes you can visit. You may need to show ties to your country such as bills, letter from an employer, pay stubs, lease or mortgage, etc... You may not be asked to show anything (thus far I have not) but it's a good idea to bring it. Also plan for shorter trips and pack lightly. :) best of luck!

Be very careful. If you travel to the US on a visitors visa with the intent of applying for permanent residency that may be considered immigration fraud. I would definitely consult an attorney if I were you.
