ok, I,m in the 90 day window to remove the CR1 conditions ( was married less than 2 years when my wife arrived)

My question is, do I have to do another Biometric? We had to go to the Colombia Embassy for her Visa,(we were married in Col.) We have done a Biometic once already.

Do we need a 2nd one for this as well? Can I just use the old one and update it?

Thanks, Kevin

Not a CR-1 process moved to removal of conditions forums.

Removal of Conditions is not a visa. Nor is it the same process as the visa. You will provide new evidence, new forms, new biometrics etc.

Biometrics are taken to do background checks and to prove you are who you are and not someone stealing your filing/immigration process.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Yes, you will need another round of biometrics and the cost is covered by the filing fee. After you send your filing form, you will receive an NOA1 and then a notification of where to go for your biometrics.
