What is your favorite place to visit/live?

I was thinking about this earlier. Throughout my nearly 17 years of military service, I've been lucky enough to have visited/lived in nearly 20 different countries. I lived in Korea (where I met my fiance), Germany twice, Republic of Panama and have visited over a dozen more (France, Netherlands, Belgium, Lux, Costa Rica, Canada, Mexico, Honduras and some others that I can't mention). I never really thought about it before, but I'm curious what your favorite place to visit/live is(besides your home country) and why.

I really had a good time in Germany...it is just a beautiful place to live, but I really enjoyed my visit to Ireland when I went there a few years back. I drove all over country and I loved the scenery and the history. I also enjoyed the Guinness.

I've been to over 30 countries. Hong Kong is my favorite place I've been to.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Been all over the US, much of Canada, India, Thailand, and Laos. Thailand wins hands down. Not to say that it doesn't have some minuses, but I like hot weather, and good food cooked fresh 24/7! Other than that, the Pacific NW is beautiful, but too wet and cold. Right here in the Blue Ridge mtns is very nice as well... gee, I guess everywhere has got it's own beauty. But really, we'll live in Thailand.

I lived in Hawaii for 4 years in the Marines. Loved it there! I might choose there if it weren't for the cost of living omg!!!

I've been to the Far East(Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Wake Island lol), the Middle East(Bahrain, Saudi Arabia), Mexico, England, France.

I love the Philippines though!! Surprised?? lol

The weather, diving, the cost of living, and mostly the Filipinos!

They are the friendliest people in the world from what I've seen.

Gonna try again.
