i like spinach paneer, much. I've had it in many places, but I'm torn between Houston and Liverpool.

For many, it's an acquired taste... Once you acquire it, though - OMG.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Yum! Have you tried paneer kebabs?

Has anyone tried eating yak meat? I am not cooking this evening because my husband will come home late so I thought of ordering from a Himalayan restaurant. I scanned their menu and read Yelp reviews. People said the yak chili is a must-try.

In Japan, I ate whale. I also tried horse meat tartar. Horse meat was good, whale wasn't my cup of tea (too fatty).

In Mongolia, I ate sheep's head, but I didn't like to eat it, because I like to forget that meat was once a living creature.

What would Xenu do?

I wish I had taken more pictures. Sadly, all I can do is show pictures taken by others.

The whale I ate looked like this:

Mongolian sheep head looks like this:

####### did somebody do to that whale meat? Plain grilled whale meat and sashimi is fab. Also thin slices of whale bacon are deliciously, though expensive nowadays.

I ate some goats brain curry in Myanmar which was good. My friend freaked out worrying that I would get mad cows disease.

Many years ago I went to the UAE as a guest of a royal there. They had a dinner party at night on an orchard ( in the desert). The servants dug a deep pit and roasted several lambs on a spit. I was horrified when I was offered the eyeball to eat with my hands. However I was informed that it was an honor to be offered the eyeball , so I shut my eyes and ate it. Diplomacy can be tough.

In Aichi-ken, we fry our whale meat. And it tastes bad.

Our miso-katsu and tebasaki are the best, though.

What would Xenu do?
