After your visa is approved and you are sent to pay the Domex, are you given two options, delivery or pick-up? And, if you request to pick up the envelope and the passport/visa how many days does it take and how are are you notified that it is ready for pick up? Where do you pick it up at??

Yes, you can ask that you pick up the packet. It can take any were from a week or longer if there are some issues (i.e printing, AP, etc.). There is a number they give you so you can check on the DOMEX website or by calling. You can check the website for where to pick it up. Not sure if it is where you pay at in the Consulate or not.

As reese1 explained you do have the option to pick up or have it deliver, the time fame varies with them it can be anywhere from a couple a days to a wk or maybe more, sometime the cause can be place on AP (Administrative process) but normal if and when all goes well it typically a several days to a wk. You will be notified by phone they will call whatever number they have on file or you can call yourself to find out the status of the visa packet. If you choose to pick it up they will give you a map with the location that is closest to you.
