C1/D visa Help URGENT !!!

Please help URGENT-US non immigrant visa

Dear Users,

I am an Indian having a valid passport (upto 2019) applied for a job in cruise lines now I am shortlisted in last 5 so i wanna to know that

Q.1-Who decides visa type (me/else) please clarify it also?

Q.2-Which kind of visa i need to work on a cruise registered in US (home base is also US){H-1B,J,C1,D or any other please mention if i need more than one}

Q.3 Most probably I think I need C1/D visa ,Do i need another work permit or anything as I am an Indian and the cruise registered in US (home base is also US)

Q.4 Total approximate time(max) and Cost/Fee(max) to get a visa (please don't say it depends on you,Now you know my case and i only want a approximation)

Q.5 Anything that i have to know before applying for a visa and your suggestions please

Usually the company that sponsors the visa will decide, it will probably be a crewman's visa.

Citizenship

April 29, 2013 - NOA1 for petition received

September 10, 2013 Interview - decision could not be made.

April 15, 2014 APPROVED. Wait for oath ceremony

Waited...

September 29, 2015 - sent letter to senator.

October 16, 2015 - US Citizen

Timeline

Once the company provides you the employment letter/contract you can make an appointment at the us embassy for the visa. It is a c1/d and usually good for 5 years. The agency. Handling your paperwork and employment should give you a package with the info and letter to get this visa. Last I heard, the visa was about $160 .

10/14/2000 - Met Aboard a Cruise ship

06/14/2003 - Married Savona Italy

I-130

03/21/2009 - I-130 Mailed to Chicago lockbox

11-30-09: GOT GREEN CARD in mail!!!!!!

Citizenship Process;

1/11/2013: Mailed N400 to Dallas Texas

3/11/2013: interview.. Approved

4/4/2013. : Oath! Now a U.S. citizen!
