i was researching, and i read that once the case goes to the NVC, they will send my wife forms she has to fill out and sign, and send me a letter requesting a i-134. My wife lives in the Dominican Republic, what forms will they send her?, and can they be printed out before they are sent just to have them ready when they ask for it? also what other documents will they require from my wife, and what other things will they require from me.

P.S if it is they send forms to my wife, how is she supposed to give them to the NVC, or is there any other way of having them receiving it her being in Dominican Republic

The amount of time spent at the NVC stage is basically up to you. You control whether you are through NVC in a month, or 3 months, or 9 months.

BE PREPARED BEFORE YOU EVEN GET TO NVC!

You can/should have all completed paperwork and extras ready to go by the time you get to NVC. Please go here: http://www.visajourn...-february-2013/ and read the first two posts. VERY informative and will prepare you for the NVC stage. research those 2 first posts and then read through the pages of that thread. ask questions if you still have any.

I made it through NVC in 23 days. GOOD LUCK!

PS. you can download forms before hand / get them all ready while waiting for your NOA2. NVC sent me NOTHING in snail mail. As soon as my case was transfered to NVC and I got my case number and IIN number, ALL CONTACT with NVC happened through email and ME sending THEM packets.

i went to the link you provided read the guide and i understand everything, but im confused, ok im supposed to get the affidavit of support for the NVC process, but my wife will have to get all of those papers that are mentioned in the IV packet, what has me confused is how will my wife mail that to the NVC? or is there any other way she can go about doing this that won't make her have to go to a postal office and mail all those paper work.

No, you will send everything to the NVC. you will be sending 2 packets to NVC (whether you send them both together or seperately, is up to you).

First your wife will send the DS-3032 email to nvc stating you as the agent so that you can recieve all of the emails to tell you what the next steps are. It will have to be sent from her email.

You will fill out the I-864 (AOS) and print it out. you will gather all necessary documents for that packet.

You will have your wife fill out and print the DS-230 (signature ONLY on part 1. she has to sign part 2 infront of an IO at her interview). Your other option is to have her only print out the part 1 signature part of the DS-230 and have her make multiple copies and sign multiple copies. Then she can send those signed copies to you and you can fill out the rest of the form for her. After you recieve the signed part of the DS-230 and all the documents for it (she will need to send you a police report and other docs but don't do this too early, as police reports may expire at a certain time depending on what country you are from.)

Once you have both packets complete and paid for, you will send them to NVC.

PM me if you are still confused about anything.

ok, can the her documents be copies, for example can i send the NVC copies of our marrage certificate and her birth certificate (also any other documents needed for the IV packet)? it's kind of difficult for her to send me original documents since we live in diffrent contries.

p.s tried pming you but it say you can't recive new messages
