Hello again everyone, Well i finally just received my RFE. They want more proof of evidence. Looks like thats its. They said the 20 some pictures i sent did not have names or dates or locations on the back. This is true. Im going to reprint those pictures plus many more HANDWRITTEN all the information. They also said the orbitz trip i was planning they wanted to see actually proof i went on this trip. Thank god i saved all plane tickets etc. Soo any advice on what to send. This is what i have and plan to do..

1. Least 50 pictures of us with names location on the back with approx dates. ( would month and year be okay? The last two years how am i suppose to know exact dates)?

2. Both copies of passport with stamps that i visited brazil and mexico with her.

3. Plane tickets for both of us.

4. Copies and or original letters, cards we gave each other for the holidays.

5. Receipts when i was in cancun and brazil.

6. 3 letters from my mother, work, neighbor that we are a real couple. (handwritten or typed)?? The one from work Im getting notorized.

7. Printed about 50 pages of facebook chats of the past 6 months since we began this process.

In the letter they wanted to show we met between the dates of 8-13-10 and 8-13-12. I filed 8-13-12, the only proof i have is what i have above. In those dates i only have pictures. Will the dates i write on the back be good enough? The trips and so on were while we been waiting for this to be approved.

Thanks for your help, I learned a lesson and i wonder if i put the dates and names on the back of all my pictures if i would be approved right now ;\

Are you saying the only proof of meeting face to face in the 2 years prior to filing your petition is pictures? You have no passport stamps, boarding passes, receipts of any kind? Nothing else? Photos are not going to be enough. You need the primary evidence stuff, such as the passport stamps and boarding passes to show you actually were together in person. Photos are used as secondary evidence to go along with your primary evidence.

Trips you took to be together AFTER you filed the petition are useless for the requirements of the petition. They want to see proof of you being together in person within the 2 years prior to filing. Trips after filing the petition can be helpful at the actual K-1 visa interview. They will not help with the petition requirements.

I was not planning on this and had no idea about this k1 requirements until she could not come back to USA. anyway yes all i submitted was what i had. about 20 pictures of us together but all were different times of the year. A engagement ring receipt and a trip we were planning to cancun. We never took any trips on planes , so i have nothing such as boarding passes. Since we filed and are separated I took 2 trips to meet her and do have copies of plane tickets etc. All i have is photos between those dates ;[... now you made me worried.

how did you get to her the last two times? Did you drive, Take a bus Etc. Bank records of withdrawls, spending in the others country. You need something that proves you were there, as pictures can be photoshopped and therefore need to have other proof with them.

Send them only what you have for ONE meeting within the time period. Nothing else because that does not support anything.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

You need to prove to them that you met face to face within the 2 years before you filed the I-129F. That is why they are asking for evidence between those dates, the 2 years prior you to you filing. The main requirements for filing an I-129F petition are: both being free to marry at the time of filing and having been together in person within the 2 year time frame before filing. They are very strict about the requirements. If you are unable to convince the adjudicator that you met face to face in those 2 years, then you will be denied. If that happens, you can refile and use the evidence you now have from the trips you took after filing the petition.
