Hello VJ!

Well I had my interview appointment and got an rfe because of my affidavits!

I submitted all the evidence the following Monday to her personal fax.

I have not heard anything since then. So when the 60 were up we made an info pass appointment.

The guy told me that my case was touched a week ago and that the IO noted that we have a bona fide marriage and that we have a good case!

But he could not tell me anything else!

He said that I should just go up to her and asked her what happened?!? ( sure if I can make it past homeland security)

He said that the only other option I have is to submit the evidence again to remind her of our case! So we did!

We still haven't heard anything.

He also said that it doesn't matter how often I submit the requested evidence, they could always claim they didn't get it! Really?!?

Is there anything else I can do?

I'm so frustrated!

Any suggestions?

I would contact one of your congressional representatives to try and get the ball rolling.

You will need to complete a privacy release form that you can then fax / email to their office and they can then investigate on your behalf. It can often help to shake loose a case that is approvable but has not yet been approved.

This is so frustrating Tanja! I would try to call them and ask them. And if they really claim they did not get your RFE documents, then re-send them. But maybe my advice is not a good one...but seriously, this needs to come to its end...very annoying! I'm so sorry! :( I wish you the best!

We already resend them twice. Still nothing!

I find it weird that the officer did not send you a RFE for the proof of citizenship of the people who did the affidavits of support BEFORE the interview. I also forgot to enclose the proof of citizenship for my co joint sponsor, and they sent me the RFE beeeefore the interview.

The rfe wasn't for my co sponsers( my husband is my sponsor)

It was for the letters his family wrote testifying that we have a real marriage.

I thought having the letters notorized would be good enough. But I guess not. We already faxed everything twice and we are going to send a hard copy!

Oh so not the affidavit of support, but the letters.

I didn't know they also want proof of citizenship for the people who write those letters!!!!!
