Approval to GC in hand

My husband and I completed our green card interview on Feb. 20th

and got an online update of approval right after. We are planning on

flying to Europe in the beginning of May, but I'm kind of nervous about

whether or not I'll have my green card by that time. My EAD was lost in

the mail in January, and I'm beyond paranoid that it may happen to the GC as well.

I'm wondering whether I should schedule an Infopass appointment to have my

passport stamped-just in case the GC doesn't arrive? I'm not sure what the wait

is for an appointment at the moment; I just don't want to run out of time.

You will be able to track it once you get the email that it was mailed. You will definately get it before May though. You can also do an ifopass to get your passport stamped if something should happen like the EAD...
