We had our interview this january in Islamabad my daughter and I have been issued visas but husband was asked to provide CV and ammended passport. Due to some unavoidable reasons he cant provide immediately passport so he submitted his CV with a request to start further processing and asked that will provide passport as he gets it. So we want to know will they start AP with CV and inform us when case will be ready

plz seniors give inputs

Nobody knows, but it would be reasonable to assume they would await the passport.

Thanks, With CV he also given a request to start AP. 2ndly is not that normal ppl take their passports back for their personal reasons and embassy ask for it when case is ready for visas.

Just because you asked for them to start AP, it doesn't mean they will. The only people who can answer that question would be the embassy. I am assuming they want his passport f they requested it. Why can;t your husband provide it?

It all depends on why he is in AP, and what is in his passport. No-one can tell you how long it will take.

Why can;t he supply a passport now, and did he show it at interview? For example if his passport is expiring and he needs a new one, then supplying the old passport may do for now, so they can do security checks on it and any stamps in it.

He took his old passport in interview consular checked all travel history and returned to get new and provide them (that was expired one).
