So I came back to my parent's house today to look at my mail. I haven't changed my address yet (I know! Bad me! I really need to call them now and do it) so I had no idea that a week ago...February 14th to be exact (how auspicious ;)) I received my NOA2 approval. I AM SO HAPPY!! I've been going crazy living 6 months without my love and it's been especially hard this past month but there's finally a light at the end of this tunnel.

Just in case you were wondering, I filed August 31st..so if you August filers haven't heard anything yet sit tight..you should hear something soon (unless my case was just a fluke). For all those who have reached this step so far...any suggestions on how to move forward? Suddenly all I researched has gone out of my head (too excited) so basically...who do I need to call tomorrow and what will help make this process go as quickly as possible? Also in terms of updating my address information do I need to do that with USCIS and the new agency that will be handling my petition?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

cookie & cookie! Many congrats. I'm very happy for you. I hadn't run into an Argentine couple in which the lady is the petitioner and the guy the beneficiary... Let us know how his interview goes. Do you have any plans on going with him to the interview? I'd love to go with mine (still a long wait until then), but I'd rather travel with him and be together for the POE part, which I think is a bit scarier... Anyway, keep us posted? :) See you over at the K1 Argentina Forum! :star:

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."
