I want to add something! You can get your greencard through mail with or without interview, so you can also expect an interview appointment. But seat and relax con gc processing are taking a lil bit longer. And don't worry for ROC, you stll have at least 2 years ahead. You should also apply for your driver license if u dont have one

Roc asks for proof spanning 2 years of marriage. It is much much easier to collect the photocopies and evidence during the time than to wait and freak out later when you cannot find things. Because I had started early and kept up the process my packet was fully ready and barely required any extra effort to put it together and send it off when it was time. Advising people to start now is much better than later.

Thank you so much for all the answers. I will have to go for an interview next month. I hope it will go well.

Agreed. Telling people to start keeping track of the documentation they will need for ROC now is much better advice than telling them not to worry about it for 2 years. ROC needs evidence from the entirety of your marriage, not just the time right before you file for ROC.

Hi all,

This forum is super helpful, thanks a lot.

I wonder what is the nest step after recieving the EAD card? Do I need to do anything else?

Thanks again

Chalalai

After EAD, if you do not get an interview, you sit and wait for GC.
