So.. I called today to try and do another expedite.. I was first told that my I-130 is At Tampa.. oh ok.. I guess? Does that even matter? Then because for some odd reason they can not expedite they send me to a tier 2 rep.. He then tells me my I-130 is at Jacksonville.. so now i am confused.. He Was Able to send an expedite request But i guess what i would like to know if anyone has any of the same similer issues as me? Does it even change anything if my I-130 is at a local field office? Im just ready to tear my hair out i am so frustrated! They havent touched my file since 12/18/12!!!!! Ok well thanx for any input!!!

The petition stage normally takes about 4-6 months since Aug 2012. Unless you have a really good reason for expediting, they don't do it very often. You have to show "extreme" reasons. You'll have to wait and see if they get, then grant your expedite.
