AP Ghana

Hi all,

Has anyone gotten out of AP in Ghana since the beginning of this year? Also, a status check at www.ceac.stata.gov says visa issued but a call to the DOS and an email to the Ghana embassy shows still in AP. I guess the latter check overrides the former but has anyone experience this?

I am aware of another k1 visa beneficiary that recently came out of AP which they were only in for a few months. If the ceac website says the visa was issued, I would do a screen print of that site and send it in an email to the embassy in Ghana in your subject line address refer your email to the Non-immigrant visa supervisor then be specific, again, in your description of your situation and ask for the next steps. For some reason, the embassy in Ghana is not always very efficient.
