Actually it's our country's problem if we start spending the money to round them up. Will we lock them up? Dump them on the other side if the border? Not that the country currently even has even close to resources to find and detain them. And will soon have even less when the new cuts are in.

Why do you hate America?

Why do you hate America?

So to love America I must blindly accept ignorance and ignore logic and reason? We don't have the resources to keep more from crossing our border now, and that budget will get cut. We don't have the resources to round up and remove the illegals committing violent crimes and remove them now, and that budget will be cut. But yes, let's answer a question with a question and doubt someone's love for his country for not blindly hating illegal immigrants and keeping his eyes shut to the problem.

Oh this sounds bad. I can just see them giving the same marked license to every K-1 immigrant who has yet to receive a green card.

But aren't people who came and live here legally - in a legals status>?

Which is why they adjust or modify status.

Sure we have the resources to stop them coming over the border. All we have to do is start prosecuting employers that hire them, don't allow them to revive services if they are here illegal. I.E. you can't get water, power, rent etc.

Deny nonessential medical care, do not admit them to schools without proper ID.. Guess what. You would not need border guards , they would all go home.

Thta's pretty much the way it works in most places.

I do believe we've been working in that direction in certain states. I believe it was Arkansas that passed such tough rules they left the state in droves. The vegetable farmers had a real hard time of it, their crop rotted in the fields because there was no one to harvest it. I'm not sure what happened the year after. Did the illegals come back? Did the farmers find a new legal workers to havest it? Did they change crops? Or did they go broke? Lots of info in the media on the first season, I saw nothing on the second, maybe it adjusted.

I think it was Alabama.

I was thinking I may have had the state wrong. It's been a while, plus not enough coffee this morning
