Well I think it is better to over prepare than under prepare. Think for a moment what you are suppose to be doing. You are suppose to prove a relationship that is ongoing. Put your self in the CO's shoes. I would go through all my stuff and pick a reasonable number you would think you would want to see if you were the CO. Once you have selected the reasonable number... then double it.... :D

YMMV

We brought 8 or 10 pictures, 4 or 5 pages of e-mails (that they never looked at) and a print out of our phone calls for the past three months that they really liked (I used one of those cheap prepaid plans that keeps track of your calls and was able to print a log for each month).

Honestly, no CO wants to stand there and look through 50 pictures! They did keep one of our pictures showing us together.

Obviously it's not a number.

The legal requirement isn't to show that the relationship is ongoing, but to show that the relationship is not for the purpose of evading immigration law. Thus, lots of evidence that shows you communicate isn't necessarily helpful. Evidence should show there's a reason other than the visa for your engagement and marriage-to-be.

it ask for eviadence of a ongoing relationship,i would think that means regular communication and the more the better idea they have that there not just trying to get a visa and that it is a bonafied relationship
