Hello my visa journey friends i'm looking for some guidence on what to do. I applied for my daughter i130(permanent resident applying for child over 21) on july 2008 and since then the status on the application hasnt changed from initial review. i'm a little confused on how i should reach out to the uscis by mail. all help will be grealty appreciated.

They seem to be working on January 16, 2012. I would call them. 1-800-375-5283

She is not married, correct?

03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

You are incorrect, as she is over 21- thus the OP has another 3+ years to wait before the visa will be processed.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

The OP put their filing location as Vermont. This is what I found in VSC's processing times.

I could very well be missing something.

Her child is in the F2B category, they are currently processing priority dates of March 05 for visas. The child has three more years (give or take) before a visa becomes available. It is not uncommon for these applications to be placed at the end of the line since processing them today or next month will not change when the child can apply for a visa.

ok thank you. one more question so in the bulletin it says that for f2b cateorgy they are processing 01MAR05 for the month of march 2013, so since i filied for my daughter on July 2010 i'm going to have to wait five more year in order for a visa to become avalible????

If you files in July 10 then yes it is 5 years to wait. If you filed in March 08 as you said in your first post, then it is 3 years.

Oh I see what you mean, so even if his I-130 is approved, a visa number wouldn't come available until three years down the road anyway.
