I chose no response because I didn't agree with either.

She claims to be poor yet stole only "candy, cookies, gum" never actual food items (like the officer noted in his report). So "the poor should be taught a lesson" doesn't apply. She stole them because she got away with it.

She's guilty, she got arrested and she'll pay for her crime. Certainly is ridiculous in my opinion that it's a felony, but I suppose when you add up how much she stole, and what she admitted to, it's a bloody lot. It would be akin to her walking out with a TV. Just because it was a lot of cookies over a long period doesn't make it okay.

Thought if you have to commit a crime, "Oreo thief" will be hilarious for years.

It won't be long...

I can imagine the story. The security guard told her to stop eating the stolen Oreo's but she just glared at him and chewed menacingly. Once more he he warned her to drop the cookies. As she reached for her glass of milk to wash down the mouthful of cookies, the security guard took that this was an aggressive move and felt in fear of his life, so he drew his weapon and fired 14 times, killing her and 7 coworkers in the break room. :devil:

Then Paul would come along and tell us how she deserved to be shot. :lol:

As did the 7 lazy co-workers who were just leeching on that poor corporation anyways.
