You're good to go. Overkill, actually, especially with the signature stuff.

Yes I thought the signature I saw on one cover letter was great, but agreed we already sign every other form..\

As for the G-1145 E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance, only one copy is needed for the entire application or one per form is needed?

One more question, I've seen a couple cover letters showing Driver's license copies. Is it needed?

My wife's address is outdated so it wouldn't prove we live together anyway.. and California doesn't issue new DL when you change address..

I don't believe I included it. My passport was more important than my driver's license.

It doesn't hurt to include it though, but you can write a note on the copy saying that address has been changed since.
