AP to Ready , means ?

Hi VJ members.

My interview was in 1st week of JAN .Officer told me that i need joint sponsor ,so submit required ASP.I submitted docs on 18FEB.Before submission of docs my case status on CEAC was AP and when consulate received status change from AP to Ready.

Now my question is what does it means?

Ready for what?

Reschedule for interview or visa issue ?

For both cases how many days it will take ?

Need your valuable assistance .

U will get ur visa in 2 weeks or less..... My coisin was in same situtation he got it in 2 weeks

cngrats. Have you received your visa packet and passports by now ? How many days it takes from "Ready" status to actually receiving visa. I shall be happy if you reply as my status also today changed to Ready from AP

how long have you been in AP before your status changed to ready?? And what were you put on AP for in the first time

I need co sponsor in my interview.

SO when i submitted my docs ,my case status changed and within 3 days i got my packet and passport.

It took 39 days in AP and it was for proof of domicile of petitioner

Thanks all VJers ! I have received our immigration visa packets and passports back today, exactly after 42 days.IT WAS VERY SATIFYING experience to get opinions of fellow VJers. I wish best luck to all other VJers.

Today i check my case status at ceac its change from ap to issued yahooooooooooo;-:-D
