The reasons don't have a whole lot to do with him being foreign, but him being who he is. He's kind, sweet, and most of all doesn't have these pre-concieved notions of beauty. I'll freely admit, I'm overweight, and most men here in the U.S. won't give me a second look because of it.

Because he is sooo sweet and he's really a noble person. When I met him through a mutual friend, we clicked right away because we are heading on the same direction in life. I just love this man and he happened to be from another country... :dance:

I said this in the other topic, but figured I would say the same in here.

Well, I am like all the others who have said I didn't choose to fall in love with a foreigner. In fact I always dreamed of marrying an american cowboy. The only thing I had about foreigners was the Irish accent. But I didn't marry an Irishman, I married a Moroccan! I love his accent too! Even when we first started talking, I didn't like him. Didn't want anything to do with him. Then when I went to visit my dad in Philly, my friend was dating his roommate, and we had to go meet him, so I ended up meeting my husband and falling in love with him. So it wasn't my choice, but my destiny!
