EAD card with wrong information

So, I recently received my EAD card and realized that my middle initial was wrong. I looked at my original application and realized that I entered my surname as both my "middle name" and "family name"(like an idiot). I was wondering if I would have to pay for USICS to fix this issue (since it is MY fault), or if it would be covered with the original fees.

Day 000: 12/17/12 - I-130, I-485, I-765, & I-131 Received by USCIS.
Day 001: 12/18/12 - NOA's received via text/email.
Day 002: 12/19/12 - Checks cashed.
Day 007: 12/24/12 - Biometrics appointment received.
Day 022: 01/08/13 - Biometrics appointment.
Day 024: 01/10/13 - RFE received (I-864).
Day 035: 01/21/13 - RFE sent to USCIS.
Day 039: 01/25/13 - RFE received by USCIS.
Day 043: 01/29/13 - Interview ready for scheduling.
Day 056: 02/11/13 - EAD & AP approved.
Day 064: 02/19/13 - EAD/AP combo card received!
Day 070: 02/25/13 - Interview scheduled for 3/27/13 (email notification)
Day 100: 03/27/13 - Interview. Told I would hear from them in 30 days or less.
Day 192: 06/27/13 - Letter in the mail requesting ANOTHER copy of my marriage certificate and evidence of bona fidelity marriage.
Day 225: 08/07/13 - AOS APPROVED!!!

Day 227: 08/09/13 - AOS card ordered for production.

Day 235: 08/17/13 - Card received in the mail.

Well if it was your fault and you want to fix the issue - you get to pay the fees. Did you check other paperwork to make sure it's been filled out properly?

Yes. The I-765 was the only application where I made this mistake. Everything else was filed properly. Should I even worry about it since I should be getting the green card with the correct information soon (hopefully)?

If you are planning to get a SSN or Drivers License with the EAD it will need to be changed. Also, I personally wouldn't use the AP without the correct initial. If you flip the card over, it actually has the whole middle name on the back, so its a pretty big deal.

You will likely get your GC before they would even be able to fix the EAD anyhow, so I wouldn't bother especially if you already has an interview date.

Well, thankfully, I already have a SSN and a license so I guess the wait for the GC with the correct information is worth it. Especially since the corrected EAD will take longer than the GC.THANKS!!!! ^_^
