Enjoy your day Jackie! I'm taking it easy (NOT!) today. Major housecleaning and prepping for a dance presentation tomorrow at a local university. I am definitely going to spend some time outside w/ the doggies tho.... they need a dog park excursion.

btw... What's up w/ this new format? I am *not* liking it.... maybe I'm just not used to it, but I don't like it right now. :hehe:

Wish I had my new scooter... perfect day for a ride! Then I really wouldn't get my housework done!

Have fun Jackie & Noura! I've been up for a couple of hours working on the script for our Spanish skit. I have to meet the rest of the team today at 1 and I hope I have all of the skit except the parts they are giving me today finished.

Then it's on to economics homework and laundry and bills. This evening is a jazz concert at the university, so I really want to finish all this in time for that.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Happy Sunday everyone! I agree with you Jackie: where is everyone? Us west coasters are the last to wake up and expect to see the daily thread on it's 2nd or 3rd page by now!! Going to breakfast with my daughter and son in law shortly. Don't see much of her since she started college classes. I tried to stay up late so I would be tired for the flight but I wore myself out with the cleaning, errands and IMing with some of you last ngith  It is absolutely pouring rain. I mean buckets, where is the boat, the ark, kind of pouring! ok ok enough gabbing.

Noura: enjoy your dog park outing. Maybe you can ride the scooter after you finish the housework as a 'reward'. Shall I bring Said back with me? I found one little corner I can squeeze him into :P

Jackie: have fun at the wedding.

Honeyblonde: get that homework done!!

Take care everyone!!! I will miss you alllllllll!! Yes even you troublemakers :P:P

I'm sick but at least it's sunny out today.

And I bought an ipod yesterday so I have something fun to play with.

Plus, being sick gives me a great excuse to be as lazy as I want and not feel bad for it. :D

Good luck Maggie!! Enjoy yourself. :)

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5
