Hello everybody,

I'm about to file my documents and I'm still in doubt on what "extras proof" of relationship I should send.

Did anybody send pictures ?

What about passport photos ?

Besides that, I have all the documents the list on the USCIS website.

Thank you for the help !

Wish we all good luck !

I have been using VJ since 2009 and one of the first terms I learnt on here was "Front-loading". Give them way more than they ask for, of course, whatever you submit should be legit.

Pictures are good, they add some weight in your favor. However, they love to see co-mingling of finances, joint bank accounts, joint leases, etc...

I am sure you are good there!

Good luck and stay sharp!

USCIS I-751 guidelines states that the documents should cover those given by them but not limited just to those, so look at the VJ guidelines for the additional evidence details - In VJ threads people with experience shared that affidavits are not a great evidence but it is good to added those.

See that you have enough proof of living together (important ones are - joint utility bill/s, lease or ownership of house, driving licence) and inter-mixing of finances (important ones are - joint bank account, IRS tax transcript/s, credit card account, vehicle, beneficiary details of benefits/insurance/401K...). Yes, you can send few pictures (can print 6 photos on a single paper) of any trips you made or with other firneds and family pertaining to this period. Of course a child born in this marraige will be a great additional evidence.

I didn't see that photos in the USCIS guideliens. I will check and get back on that.

All the best.

As per I-751 guidelines, 2 passport-style photos are required only for those that reside overseas for fingerprint work and you will take your to the Bio-metric center.

Look at it this way a well rounded package is what they want, finances, affidavits, memberships, a few photos. FYI ours was about 150 pages including full joint tax return and a transcript. They want to see a co-mingling of your lives in the US. We did in our cover letter indicate both of our homes are solely owned by each other prior to marriage. I am not going to obligate her to the reduced value debt of my us home in case something happens to me. See the interview with the Director by Gary and Alla. You will be fine.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.
